ELIONI PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/h4>\n

Elioni are the \u201ccat-people\u201d of the Garden in the most readable, cosplay-friendly way: <\/span>cat ears, whiskers, a furred face, and a visible tail<\/b>, on an otherwise humanoid body. They tend to look built for alertness and agility rather than raw bulk, which is why they\u2019re often described as making good <\/span>scouts\/explorers\/hunters<\/b>. For roleplay, lean into quick head turns, tail tells, and the idea that personal space and personal dignity are <\/span>real<\/span><\/i> things you notice.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOME PLANET, HISTORY, AND CULTURE<\/b><\/h4>\n

Elioni come from <\/span>Rowwsia<\/b>, where the biggest landmass is <\/span>overwhelmingly desert<\/b> and most people historically lived along the <\/span>coasts<\/b>. That geography breeds a specific kind of mindset: you don\u2019t get a lot for free, you learn to make your own luck, and you don\u2019t wait around for permission to be yourself. Their culture\u2019s \u201ccenter of gravity\u201d is <\/span>independent thought and expression<\/b>, plus a strong <\/span>meritocracy<\/b> streak\u2014people want accomplishment to matter, even if the reality can drift into prestige, gatekeeping, and \u201cprove it\u201d attitudes. They\u2019re also a species that leaned hard into <\/span>industrial robotics and AI<\/b> (partly because so much of their world is brutal to work by hand). Even when an Elioni is friendly, there\u2019s often a vibe of: <\/span>I respect you most when you show me who you are and what you can do.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

LANGUAGE, AND HOW TO \u201cSOUND LIKE ONE\u201d<\/b><\/h4>\n

Elioni speech is designed to feel like a <\/span>drawled, meow\/yowl\/trill<\/b> cadence in text: you\u2019ll see lots of <\/span>stretched sounds<\/b> written with doubled letters (<\/span>rr, ww, oww, urr, arr<\/b>), and it comes off playful, dramatic, or intensely sincere depending on context. The easy RP trick is: <\/span>avoid contractions<\/b> (say \u201cdo not,\u201d \u201ccannot\u201d instead of \u201cdon\u2019t,\u201d \u201ccan\u2019t\u201d), keep sentences clean and declarative, and drop in a few signature particles\/words when you want to flavor it: <\/span>ne<\/b> for \u201cnot,\u201d <\/span>ma<\/b> for \u201cdo it!\u201d commands, and <\/span>ke<\/b> to turn something into a question. To make an Elioni name feel right, make it look like it\u2019s meant to be <\/span>spoken with a purr<\/b>: pick something <\/span>2\u20134 syllables<\/b>, then add the Elioni \u201cdrawl\u201d by using <\/span>rr\/ww<\/b> and the signature endings like <\/span>-urr \/ -arr \/ -oww \/ -roww<\/b> (and doubling letters when you want it extra Elioni). Canon-shaped examples look like <\/span>Dreer Mowurr<\/b>, <\/span>Sturrnmarr Krowwm<\/b>, <\/span>Phrawer Renurr<\/b>, <\/span>Murrr Vower<\/b>, <\/span>Timurr Drawermol<\/b>\u2014notice how they\u2019re readable, but they <\/span>linger<\/span><\/i> in the mouth.   • Be allergic to \u201cbecause tradition.\u201d<\/b> If there\u2019s a rule, you want to know what problem it solves.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Use tail\/body language in emotes.<\/b> Tail twitch = irritation, tail high = confidence, tail tucked = genuine unease, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
