This had a lot to do with the inability to interact with NPCs via \u201cG to interact\u201d so that should also be solved, and also caused some of the rubberbanding as you collided with invisible objects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The survey point in the Park will no longer move to the roof.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Shootery targets now take three normal hits to destroy. This makes it easier to understand what Overcharge does when you get to that part of the mission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fixed the issue with Overcharge where it was sticking \u201con\u201d after being used once.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cryostar pistol now has audio.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fixed a few mission dialog errors (minor typos)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Got the Juvenile Ballhogs (in the Hospital) and the Targeting Dummies (in the Shootery) to stay where they\u2019re supposed to be located. Juvenile Ballhogs are also now impervious to harm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bank Kiosk has been removed from Haven because it was confusing new users as to why they couldn\u2019t access it after leaving Haven.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you abandon all missions in Haven you\u2019ll be able to leave Haven (with less stuff, but you <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">go. \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Extended the day\/night cycle so each is 20 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gravity generator seams in the Transplanetary League Starbase are fixed so you should have no strange camera issues walking around.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Starbase now has Crafting tables (because they don\u2019t exist naturally on planets unless GovBots have progressed)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Trowel recipe is now awarded to you when you unlock the Seed Planting skill box in Farming. (And if you have that unlocked already, you should be able to now use the recipe.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are adjusting our numbering systems to match the numbering used internally by the development team. So this update is now version 7.1.1 after last week\u2019s 7.1.0. We\u2019ll all get used to it soon.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWN ISSUES:<\/strong> We are currently experiencing an intermittent camera disconnect issue.<\/p>\n<\/div><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imagedelivery.net\/0nVxk3MiKh8CpnBllFxdQQ\/01fdcf74-f87a-48f7-17aa-1c0a5a3bb000\/1920x622\" alt=\"Image\" style=\"max-width: 1000px; width: 83%; height: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto; border-radius: 20px;\">\n<\/a><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:40px;\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A huge number of changes have been made in this update. The largest of those changes is the new training base on the moon of Haven that you encounter after you finish the Hallway experience with a new character.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eventually, the new player\u2019s path will be:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preamble =&gt; Hallway =&gt; Haven =&gt; Crucible =&gt; TPL Starbase and Beyond<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, Haven is completed and we\u2019re working on Crucible, so you\u2019ll skip the Crucible step for now and move directly from Haven to the TPL Starbase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must create a new character to experience this part of That\u2019s No Moon. Existing characters cannot go to Haven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"--fontsize: 46; line-height: 1.2;\">So What is Haven?<\/h4>\n<\/div><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imagedelivery.net\/0nVxk3MiKh8CpnBllFxdQQ\/29fc6a16-1167-4498-2a8d-a60f2452bc00\/1920x1080\" alt=\"Image\" style=\"max-width: 1000px; width: 83%; height: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto; border-radius: 20px;\">\n<\/a><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:40px;\"><p>Haven is the name of a moon where a Transplanetary LeagueTraining base has been built for the specific purpose of training new recruits.<\/p>\n<p>It is a thriving township built around the same concepts as the GovBot townships you build on other planets. This includes its own mayor, Bob Howard (who greets all residents personally).<\/p>\n<p>The citizens of Haven will send you on a dozen or so short missions crafted to introduce you to fundamental elements needed to understand and enjoy playing Stars Reach.<\/p>\n<\/div><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imagedelivery.net\/0nVxk3MiKh8CpnBllFxdQQ\/3a668828-13b9-4fd6-1457-ebdf32948800\/1920x622\" alt=\"Image\" style=\"max-width: 1000px; width: 83%; height: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto; border-radius: 20px;\">\n<\/a><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:40px;\"><p>You\u2019ll receive Klaatu and XP awards along the way, as well as earning your first tools, and even making your first weapon.<\/p>\n<p>Everything else should be self-explanatory, and if it\u2019s not, that\u2019s exactly why we\u2019re running these playtests. Please let us know if anything is confusing or tedious! (You can use it to add creatures to your collection without having to kill them. They may still try to kill <i>vous<\/i> though.)\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">This will be used for flora scanning soon also, but not quite yet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Better NPC and NPC chat controls<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The whole mission interface got a massive overhaul (and is used for regular Mission Kiosk missions also)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u201cScanner\u201d features for the BioScanner, Harvester and Xyloslicer. (TAB to select a resource, then \u201cQ\u201d to scan for where the closest one is in the world so you can hunt it down. Kind of like a cross between Maker Scanning and Mineral Prospecting.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imagedelivery.net\/0nVxk3MiKh8CpnBllFxdQQ\/b71bfe11-f81a-441b-f593-ead8b3a38700\/1920x622\" alt=\"Image\" style=\"max-width: 1000px; width: 83%; height: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto; border-radius: 20px;\">\n<\/a><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;--awb-margin-bottom:40px;\"><h4 data-fontsize=\"24\" style=\"--fontSize: 24; line-height: 1.2;\" data-lineheight=\"28.8px\" class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\">What else is in the Update?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">First-person perspective is in the game. If you scroll your mouse all the way forward, you\u2019ll move into first-person, which is super useful for tight spaces, like complicated buildings or while mining. There are some culling issues we still need to resolve, but it\u2019s so useful we wanted you to have it.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">You can now use \u201cL\u201d (for mission<b> L<\/b>og) to open\/close the mission log directly.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">When an item is interactable it now has a highlight that applies. This effect is also used when you scan for something with the BioScanner, Harvester, et al.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Prediction on homing projectiles is tighter.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">When Crafting, the \u201cCan Craft\u201d toggle is now on by default. If you want to see everything you can\u2019t actually craft at the moment, then toggle that off.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Mouse sensitivity slider is in the Game Options now.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Nights are brighter. Street lamps cast more light.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">When you leave the Hallway, you retain the Grappling Hook you received.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Moved all creatures to the new shader system. (Better performance and more flexibility going forward.)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The Grapple is now shown on your HUD so you can see the status of its battery as you move from spot to spot.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">When you get a Discovery, you see a flyout message that it occurred.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Made the first crate in the Hallway more reliably appear for players. (Tentative, but good fix.)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Did a visual effects sweep on the Hallway to improve minor elements.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u201cMaguffin\u201d missions now have some more in-character items to search for<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Added signs in the Starbase to make things a lot clearer navigation-wise<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Creatures are no longer Discovered by killing them. Use the BioScanner instead.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Homestead limits (number of tiles, number of lights, etc.) are now shown on the Fabricator palette<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">New building tiles and props were added. Concave curve tiles (floor and ceiling), plus some hex lamps, a small desktop computer, and a short cabinet.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To make room for non-destructive scanning on the Harvester and Xyloslicer, the Seed Planting ability was moved to a new tool, The Trowel. This is a Farming implement that is available now. To make it, you\u2019ll need to acquire the recipe from the Toolmaking tree. You can use it to tree, bush, mushroom, and flower seeds.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Create the ability to make \u201cStory\u201d objects. A good example of these are the computers inside the University in Haven. These are not\u2026yet\u2026a player-usable feature.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Adjusted all ambient skies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/imagedelivery.net\/0nVxk3MiKh8CpnBllFxdQQ\/2ea7e267-0f37-4df7-7bbe-c92a3d2e8a00\/1920x622\" alt=\"Image\" style=\"max-width: 1000px; width: 83%; height: auto; display: block; margin: 0 auto; border-radius: 20px;\">\n<\/a><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-8\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;\"><h4>EMOTES<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You now always get a caption bubble when doing an emote, even if it also plays an animation, so that you can see which mood it was using.<\/li>\n<li>You can no longer use freeform emotes if your chat privs have been suspended.<\/li>\n<li>Added sigh emote (text only)<\/li>\n<li>Added <code>\/pose<\/code> as an alias for <code>\/emote<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>SPATIAL CHAT<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Say (and emotes) is now distance limited, in a radius of 25m<\/li>\n<li>Yell is 50m<\/li>\n<li>Whisper is 10m<\/li>\n<li>Added a host of say alternates, see <code>\/help say<\/code> for all of them. Stuff like moan, carol, accuse, implore&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>All the speech tags should now display with the right tense (e.g, &#8220;Fizz (thinks sadly) : message&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li>Speech bubbles now have your mood and your say alternate in them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>TARGETED CHAT<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You can now target says and emotes (and whispers). If you are using it with a say alternate, it requires the @ sign or else it will take the first word as chat text not a name. And targeting handles partial name matches! This also works with mood prefixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-9\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:-40px;\"><blockquote>\n<p>&gt; \/say @Bob &lt;msg&gt;.<br \/>Avatar &#8211; (says to Bob) : &lt;msg&gt;<br \/>&gt; \/angry intone @Fizz Your doom is nigh!<br \/>Avatar &#8211; (angrily intones to Fizz) : Your doom is nigh!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-10\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:-40px;\"><ul>\n<li>\n<p>Your avatar will turn to face your target when you do a targeted emote at someone, or use whisper or targeted speech. It will not affect your camera.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>To do targeted emotes, you can do <code>\/bow Bob<\/code> or <code>\/bow @Bob<\/code>. You can also <code>\/bow a pizza<\/code> and use it as a form of free form emoting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>TELL AND REPLY<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Added a <code>\/reply<\/code> command which automatically replies to the last person who sent you a tell<\/li>\n<li><code>\/r<\/code> is an alias for <code>\/reply<\/code><\/li>\n<li><code>\/t<\/code> et <code>\/dm<\/code> added as aliases for <code>\/tell<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Reply and tell also got a bit of a cosmetic makeover<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug where sending a tell to yourself showed the chat log message twice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>WHISPER<\/h4>\n<p>Whisper is different from tell &#8212; others can see that you are doing it, but they cannot see what you said!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The whisper command requires a target player in range.<\/li>\n<li>The speaker and the player will see the whisper.<\/li>\n<li>Other players close by will see a whisper bubble, but only see \u201c&#8230;Fizz angrily whispers to Cal&#8230;\u201d inside it.<\/li>\n<li>You can <code>\/whisper bob<\/code> or <code>\/whisper @bob<\/code> because a target is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>Whispers will go to the direct message channel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>HELP<\/h4>\n<p>If you type \/help you will see it now has categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chat<\/li>\n<li>Moods<\/li>\n<li>Say<\/li>\n<li>Emotes<\/li>\n<li>Commands (all other player commands)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can type <code>\/help say<\/code> to get all the say commands, or <code>\/help chat<\/code> for general chat help.<\/p>\n<p>You can also now type <code>\/help <\/code>, <code>\/help <\/code>, and <code>help <\/code> which you could not previously.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-11\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;\"><h4>One-shot moods<\/h4>\n<p>This functionality was already present, but got a cosmetic clean-up. This is one-shot setting of the mood for only that one chat, then it reverts to the underlying mood which you have set. So if you type<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-12\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:-40px;\"><blockquote>\n<p>&gt; \/mood angry<br \/>Your mood is now angry<br \/>&gt; Hi<br \/>Avatar \u2013 (angrily) : Hi<br \/>&gt; \/sad Despite my anger I feel momentarily sad.<br \/>Avatar \u2013 (sadly) : Despite my anger I feel momentarily sad.<br \/>&gt; And now what?<br \/>Avatar \u2013 (angrily) : And now what?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-13\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;\"><h4>Permanent moods<\/h4>\n<p>If you enter a mood with no words after it, it is the same as typing <code>\/mood<\/code> with that mood.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-14\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:-40px;\"><blockquote>\n<p>&gt; \/sad<\/p>\n<p>Your mood is now sad.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-15\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;\"><h4>Command chaining<\/h4>\n<p>You can also prefix <code>\/mood &lt;chatcmd&gt; &lt;message&gt;<\/code> with any form of say, whisper, or yell.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-16\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:-40px;\"><blockquote>\n<p>&gt; \/sad moan I am moaning sadly!<\/p>\n<p>Avatar &#8211; (moans sadly) : I am moaning sadly!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-17\" style=\"--awb-margin-top:40px;\"><h4>Known issue:<\/h4>\n<p>&#8220;G&#8221; to Interact can sometimes become difficult to use.<br aria-hidden=\"true\">You may occasionally find it difficult to find the right distance to stand from a character or item to interact with it using the G key. Try moving your character closer\/farther, try moving your mouse to mouseover different parts of the person or item, and let us know in Discord if you can&#8217;t get it to work.
